What this site collects
Only what you choose to send. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your phone number, the type of project and your message. Nothing else on the site collects anything about you.
There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media trackers. Fonts and images are served from this site rather than from anyone else's, so simply reading a page tells no third party that you were here.
Why, and on what basis
Your details are used to answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to prepare a quote and carry out the work. The legal basis is your consent when you send the form, and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
You will not be added to a mailing list and you will not be sent marketing unless you separately ask for it.
Who else sees it
Three companies handle the information in the course of delivering it, and none of them use it for their own purposes.
- Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., receives the contact form and passes it on by email. It processes the message in the United States, purely to deliver it, with safeguards in place for transfers out of the European Economic Area.
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host it processes visitors' IP addresses in its server logs to deliver pages and block abuse.
- Google, because enquiries arrive in a Gmail mailbox.
Nothing is sold, rented or shared with anyone else.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that lead to work are kept for as long as the project and the legal record-keeping around it require. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within two years. The email service that delivers your message keeps it only as long as it needs to send it and for its own short delivery logs.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to it being used, ask for its use to be restricted, or ask for it in a portable form. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
Email sfftoday@gmail.com and it will be dealt with within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Links to other sites
This site links to suppliers' websites and to WhatsApp. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site and their own privacy policy applies.
